Basquiat (Live 4-Deck House Session)
Jean-Michel Basquiat didn't care about polished, polite, or academic rules. He was an artist who embodied raw, rebellious neo-expressionism, he didn't wait for permission, he just created. That same philosophy of unfiltered, chaotic creation is the exact foundation of my latest live studio session, Basquiat.
Released this past weekend, this mix is a relentless, driving house groove that stands entirely on its own. Built heavily around repeating, infectious vocal loops and a high-energy rhythm, it is designed to lock the room in and never let it go. It isn't overthought or over-produced, it’s just pure, driving movement.
Like my other live work, this session was recorded completely live-to-air on a 4-deck Traktor S4 setup right here in Toronto. What you hear is exactly what happened in the studio. No post-production, no ghost production, and no safety nets. Just raw club energy mixed from start to finish.
If you are looking for that 3 AM underground club vibe to lock in for a heavy workout, a long commute, or a deep-focus work session, this is built for you.
Turn the volume up and let the groove run.
